Dentures/Removable Partial Dentures

Whether you are missing a few teeth or all of your teeth, we offer a wide variety of tooth-replacement options. Our skilled doctors will expertly fit dentures for maximum comfort & utility. Usually the process to fabricate a denture requires several steps to accomplish. However, the denture will provide a substitute for missing teeth that can improve ability to eat & talk, as well as improve facial aesthetics.

Crowns

Crowns are typically recommended for teeth that are badly damaged, such as in cases where decay is too extensive to treat with a filling. A crown could also be recommended for teeth that are malformed, chipped, or have had a root canal. Crown restorations at Mosaic can give your teeth a natural, flawless look, improving your smile while still enjoying the benefits of your natural teeth.

Orthodontics

For both cosmetic & health reasons, Mosaic offers braces to improve the alignment of teeth & to correct the position of misplaced teeth. The benefits of orthodontic treatment include an improved bite & properly aligned teeth that make it easier to brush & floss. You will also enjoy the confidence that comes with having straight teeth. Orthodontics

Root Canal Treatment

Due to physical trauma or infection due to a large cavity, the nerve inside a tooth can become damaged  & cause pain. In order to save the tooth, the dentist may perform a "root canal." which involves removing the damaged nerves of the tooth, followed by the dentist cleaning the infected area inside the tooth root & placing a filling where the nerves were removed, allowing you to retain your natural tooth. Using the latest methods, patients experience no more discomfort than if they were having a normal cleaning performed.

Tooth Extraction

In cases of significant tooth damage, your dentist may recommend the extraction of the tooth in question. If extraction is required, you can rely on Mosaic to ensure the process is a smooth and painless as possible. In addition to damaged teeth, extraction may also be recommended for Third Molars (Wisdom Teeth). Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment may have extractions recommended as well, to relieve crowding in the mouth and enhancing the effectiveness of treatment.

Child Dentistry

Children can have their first teeth in the mouth as early as 6 months old. It is important to develop and maintain good oral hygiene beginning at a young age. Early childhood decay not only causes pain but can also lead to infection and premature loss of teeth. Even though baby teeth will eventually be replaced by adult teeth, children will not lose their front teeth until the age of 6-7 years old and their back teeth until the age of 11-13 years old. Children need their baby teeth to chew food and to help with the proper development of the jaw and associated muscles. Furthermore, premature loss of baby teeth can lead to loss of space in the mouth, which leads to less space for adult teeth. Here at Mosaic, we encourage a child to have his/her first dental visit by the age of 1 year.
